Thursday morning sunrise drive around the colorful Tokyo Drift style freeway (popularized in movies and TV shows about Japan) and across Tokyos popular Rainbow Bridge (similar to New York Citys Brooklyn Bridge or San Franciscos Golden Gate Bridge). I filmed a sunset version in 60FPS but the quality was not good enough so I redid it early next morning with my original camera setup. Enjoy!
The Rainbow Bridge (レインボーブリッジ ) is a suspension bridge crossing northern Tokyo Bay in Tokyo, Japan. It was built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, with construction starting in 1987 and completed in 1993. The bridge is 798 metres (2,618 ft) long with a main span of 580 metres (1,903 ft).
The towers supporting the bridge are white in color, designed to harmonize with the skyline of central Tokyo seen from Odaiba. There are lamps placed on the wires supporting the bridge, which are illuminated into three different colors, red, white and green every night using solar energy obtained during the day.
Shuto Expressway (首都高速道路 Shuto Kōsoku-dōro, lit. «Metropolitan Expressway», where shuto also means «capital city») is a network of toll expressways in the Greater Tokyo Area of Japan. It is operated and maintained by the Metropolitan Expressway Company Limited (首都高速道路株式会社 Shuto Kōsoku-dōro Kabushiki-gaisha).
Most routes are grade-separated (elevated roads or tunnels) and central routes have many sharp curves and multi-lane merges which require caution to drive safely. The speed limit is 60 km/h on most routes, but 80 km/h on the Bayshore Route, and 50 km/h on the Inner Circular Route.
All trips on the expressway require a toll be paid. As of 2014, the cash toll for a standard-size car is ¥1300 regardless of distance travelled. Vehicles using the ETC toll-collection system pay a distance-based toll ranging from ¥300 to ¥1300 for ordinary vehicles (see toll price) – in some cases substantially less than the previous fixed-rate toll. Lower cash rates exist for certain radial routes (where there are only a few kilometers of expressway remaining) and ETC users have various time-of-day discounts. For large vehicles, the toll is doubled.

Tokyo ranks first in the Global Economic Power Index and third in the Global Cities Index. The GaWCs 2018 inventory classified Tokyo as an alpha world city – and as of 2014 TripAdvisors World City Survey ranked Tokyo first in its «Best overall experience» category (the city also ranked first in the following categories: «helpfulness of locals», «nightlife», «shopping», «local public transportation» and «cleanliness of streets»). As of 2018 Tokyo ranked as the 2nd-most expensive city for expatriates, according to the Mercer consulting firm. and also the worlds 11th-most expensive city according to the Economist Intelligence Units cost-of-living survey. In 2015, Tokyo was named the Most Liveable City in the world by the magazine Monocle. The Michelin Guide has awarded Tokyo by far the most Michelin stars of any city in the world. Tokyo was ranked first out of all sixty cities in the 2017 Safe Cities Index. It was also ranked the first in the 2019 safe cities index. The QS Best Student Cities ranked Tokyo as the 3rd-best city in the world to be a university student in 2016 and 2nd in 2018. #Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word ārātrika (आरात्रिक), which means something that removes rātrī, darkness (or light waved in darkness before an icon). Another word from which Aarti is thought to be derived is the Sanskrit word Aaraartikyam A Marathi language reference says it is also known as Mahaneeranjana.
Aarti is said to have descended from the Vedic concept of fire rituals, or homa. In the traditional aarti ceremony, the flower represents the earth (solidity), the water and accompanying handkerchief correspond with the water element (liquidity), the lamp or candle represents the fire component (heat), the peacock fan conveys the precious quality of air (movement), and the yak-tail fan represents the subtle form of ether (space). The incense represents a purified state of mind, and one’s «intelligence» is offered through the adherence to rules of timing and order of offerings. Thus, one’s entire existence and all facets of material creation are symbolically offered to the Lord via the aarti ceremony. The word may also refer to the traditional Hindu devotional song that is sung during the ritual.
